AV Connections was pleased to work with national corporation US Foods from Illinois on Charleston SC Trade Show AV at North Charleston Coliseum for an industry exhibition. This time, an incredibly beautiful nighttime wedding at Legare Waring House in West Ashley photographed by one of Charleston SC’s finest wedding photographers, Aaron Nicholas Photography. Legare Waring is a historic site in the West Ashley section of Charleston which is like none other in the city. Set in a blooming and private grove surrounded by a live oak allee (pictured above in the middle photo behind the vintage Cadillac), a pond with strolling paths surrounded by ancient azaleas of every color, it is a picture perfect wedding venue.

What a beautiful afternoon to be handling ceremony AV rentals, Charleston! We were out on site for our regular Charleston SC audio rentals client, Addlestone Hebrew Academy, for a great ceremony. Addlestone Hebrew Academy broke ground on what will be their wonderful new school building! And we could not be more pleased to watch the school celebrate this momentous occasion in the West Ashley section of Charleston.

We set up the outdoor audio staging to welcome the event speakers to address the attendees in what might currently be presumed to be a field. However, soon this will be the new site of one of Charleston, SC’s finest private schools. So much of the schools work, dedication, and hopes went into this moment and it was exciting to see. For years, we’ve been with Addlestone for preformances and events and it was heart-warming to know they are on their way to a beautiful new facility.

And then, as he often has since taking office, the legendary mayor of our beautiful city of Charleston, Joe Riley, stepped up to our mic. As always, it is with pride we listened to his speech. This was a much different, less prosperous city for all of us when Charleston native  Joe Riley took office here some three decades ago. Now, Charleston, SC is Conde Nast’s best city in the world for the third amazing year in a row. He so loved the city of his birth, and believed it’s charm and grace could conquer all, that we have all benefited from his tenacity in creating a revived Charleston. Mayor Riley will leave office this year and regardless of politics, it has been a strictly amazing run.
