A field to remember: Our SC Wedding Event Lighting Team turns a pasture into a ballroom in Bluffton, SC

In SC wedding event lighting is a specialty all it’s own in our business. Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry are the number one destination wedding location in the nation. Charleston alone hosted 2,000+ wedding last year. We are pleased to say out SC wedding event lighting team lit most of them and we’re off to another amazing year.

We were off to beautiful Bluffton, SC this weekend to partner with Charleston’s premier wedding planners, Southern Protocol for a wedding at a private residence. As you can see, what began with an open field was transformed into a tented ballroom. Once the sailcloth tent was erected, we were on site to string literally 1,000+ cafe bulbs throughout the soaring tent and out onto the field. It was an extraordinary job site. We worked along the best teams in the Charleston wedding industry. The built a custom dance floor. They designed floral coffee tables. The site hummed with creativity and beauty.

Turning a field at a private residence into a fully lit wedding banquet is no small feat. It took a cast of hundreds to pull it together. When it comes to SC wedding event lighting of a private residence, AV Connections has the ability and inventory to create a new world party in a quiet old field. Our team spent a day hanging lights in this beautiful white tent. All worth it. The end result was a staggeringly beautiful party.
